ENTHUSIASTIC pupils at Enmore Primary School dressed in period clothing to take part in Tudor day - celebrating the rich history of the era.
Class four children had their eyes glued to the charismatic Henry VIII performer Mike Farley as he taught them the Tudor way of life during a talk in the school hall.
Dressed in long robes, dresses, waistcoats and hats, the pupils took part in history quizzes, made coats of arms, heard a talk on Tudor sanitation and even experienced what it was like to be locked in the stocks.
Laura Potter, class four teacher, said: "The children had a brilliant day and it further opened their eyes to the Tudor way of life.
"They have been learning the history of this era all year and they will take a lot from this day during their studies.
"Mike Farley was fantastic as Henry VIII and we look forward to him visiting us again the year after next."
